The Limitless Skateevent marks the end of the LEADER subventioned, barrier-free extension of the Füssen Skate-Bikepark. We wanted to make it accessible for people with impairements (e.g. wheelchair users) to reduce not only physical but also mental barriers in the long run. The whole event is organized by students of a P-Seminar of the Gymnasium Hohenschwangau, coordinated by their teacher Sebastian Kiesel.

Together with David Lebuser, Germany’s most renowned WCMX skater, and Felix Brunner, handbike pioneer – he was the first one to cross the Alps as a wheelchair user – and local motivational speaker, we have ideally complemented our team. The event is two days long:

Saturday July 23rd – the big event-day for everyone

People from all walks of life, no matter if impaired or not, are supposed to get together in our Skate-Bikepark and have a good time. Sustenance will be provided. There are several courses in the morning which you can register for from 8:00 am (first come, first served). Those free beginner courses taught by professionals start at 9:30 and go until 12:30 (3 times 45 minutes). You can choose from the following sports: skateboard, pumptrack (bike), scooter, handbike & WCMX (impaired + non-impaired) as well as jumpline (bike – bring your own) for advanced level. Materials & protective gear are provided on site. Wearing helmets is mandatory!

International WCMX contest from 1:30-4:30 pm – prize money 1500€. Please register previously via (divisions according to number of registrations – registration on site possible).

Open session (giveaways for best trick) for everyone after the contest at 4:30pm. Now it is also time for chatting to open-minded people. The day ends with a concert of the local band Lyca.

Sunday July 24th – the workshop-day for wheelchair users

This day clearly focusses on wheelchair athletes (and the ones that want to become some:-)
David and Felix are in the park from 10am to 4pm, offering + intensifying their course program from Saturday morning (WCMX & handbike). So if you are hesitant on Saturday, feel welcome to participate on Sunday in a more protected setting. Registration previously via or on site from 9am.

The event takes place taking into account the Covid-19 regulations of the Free State of Bavaria in accordance with the city of Füssen.

For information on accessibility / accomodation

Contest & workshop participants get special discount if they stay at the Via-Claudia-Campingplatz (campsite) Lechbruck – only 25km away + barrier-free (code-word: Limitless Skateevent). Lots for tents & campers will be reserved for you until the beginning of July
